Jaqueline Frewin

Jacqueline Frewin was an early Broadside member who helped us establish our identity as an activist newspaper. She came to us from WAVAW (Women Against Violence Against Women) and was known for her dry wit.

When she left Broadside in the mid-80s she moved to BC where she designed and built houses. In fact, another founding collective member is currently living in one of those houses.

Jacqueline died a number of years ago of lung cancer.
