Debra Curties was an early collective member, seeing us through our start up year when we incorporated, chose a name, found office space. She was involved in the Introductory issue in May 1979, before leaving the collective to work with the homeless, teach Women’s Studies at University of Toronto and York University, and follow a career in massage therapy.
She is currently the Executive Director of the Sutherland-Chan School in Toronto.
